Newsmax Rises to Fifth Most Watched Cable Channel

Newsmax Inc. has seen a significant upturn in its ratings according to Nielsen's Q1 2025 report. The network, now the fifth most watched on cable, experienced notable audience growth across all dayparts. Over five years, Newsmax's audience grew by 690% in Total Day and 1,027% in Prime time.

Notably, the network reported an increase of 50% in total viewers compared to last year, reaching 33.6 million. In the key demographic of Adults 35-64, it saw a 63% increase, reaching nearly 15 million viewers.

Several of its shows, including "Carl Higbie FRONTLINE" and "Chris Plante Right Squad", registered significant viewer growth. Newsmax's recent IPO, raising $300 million, marks a new chapter as its market presence expands.
