Newronika's αDBS® Gains CE Mark Certification

Newronika has successfully achieved CE Mark certification for its adaptive deep brain stimulation system, αDBS®, for use across the European Economic Area. This marks a significant approval for a system that senses neural activity and adjusts stimulation based on patient-specific settings. The system also integrates with Newronika's cloud-based WebBioBank™ platform.

The αDBS® system, the result of over 20 years of research, aims to improve outcomes with fewer side effects and clinical visits. The technology adapts to the brain's signals, offering personalized treatment, particularly for those with Parkinson's disease. It includes an implantable pulse generator and a patient remote, enabling continuous data transmission and long-term therapy optimization.

WebBioBank™ serves as the data platform foundation for personalized therapy, collecting and analyzing neuronal signals while ensuring patient privacy. In pursuit of U.S. FDA approval, Newronika is conducting the ADVENT trial, aiming to broaden the application of their technology in the U.S. market.
