Newmark to Lead Vornado's Retail Renaissance in THE PENN DISTRICT

Newmark Group, Inc. has been selected by Vornado Realty Trust as the exclusive leasing agent for the next phase of THE PENN DISTRICT's retail transformation on Manhattan's West Side. This collaboration will be directed by Mark Masinter, Newmark's Chairman of Global Retail. The transformation plan is part of Vornado's $2.5 billion project to revitalize THE PENN DISTRICT area.

The redevelopment effort by Vornado over the past decade includes over 5 million square feet of Class A office space and new public plazas. With 1.1 million square feet of new retail space now home to various retailers, the area also boasts more than 70 curated food and beverage options. Future plans include enhancing street-level retail on Seventh Avenue, complementing neighboring stores like Macy's and a new Primark flagship.

This strategic partnership underscores Newmark's vital role in shaping New York's commercial real estate landscape. Both entities are focused on making THE PENN DISTRICT a vibrant destination.
