New Star Investment Trust PLC: Posting of Circular
New Star Investment Trust PLC (the "Company") has announced the publication of a circular and the notice of a general meeting. The Company plans to return £17,045,687 to its ordinary shareholders through a B share scheme. This return of capital is subject to shareholder approval.
The explanatory circular regarding the B Share Scheme has been made available on the Company’s website and was posted to shareholders on 28 June 2024. The general meeting to vote on these matters will take place on 24 July 2024 at the Company's offices in London.
The board of New Star Investment Trust PLC recommends that shareholders vote in favour of the resolutions to approve the B Share Scheme and to adopt new articles of association. More information on voting by proxy is available in the circular.
