New Star Investment Trust PLC Announces General Meeting Results

New Star Investment Trust PLC (NSI) has announced the results of its General Meeting held on 24 July 2024. All resolutions concerning the B Share Scheme were passed. This follows the company’s intention to return £17,045,687 to shareholders via the B Share Scheme, paying 24 pence per ordinary share.

The B Shares will be issued on 25 July 2024. These shares will not be listed on the FCA or the London Stock Exchange. No share certificates will be issued, and no CREST accounts will be credited.

The B Shares will be redeemed and cancelled immediately after issuance, with no changes to the company’s total issued share capital or total voting rights. Full details and the poll results are available on the company’s website.

Payments from the B Share Scheme will be sent by electronic payment or cheque by 8 August 2024. Shareholders will receive their proceeds in pounds sterling.
