Renuka Iyer, MD Appointed as New Chief Medical Officer at NCCN

The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) has announced Renuka Iyer, MD, as its new Chief Medical Officer. An esteemed oncologist from Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, Dr. Iyer brings a wealth of experience in oncology leadership and innovation. Her extensive background includes roles at Roswell Park such as Section Chief of Gastrointestinal Oncology and Medical Director for Medical Oncology.

Dr. Iyer is recognized for her contributions to research on novel cancer therapies and quality of life improvements. She has been a significant influencer within the NCCN, serving on the Guidelines Steering Committee. Her new role will broaden her impact, overseeing clinical leadership for the NCCN Guidelines program and associated resources.
