Additional funding for Nano One: $4.3 million from NRCan

Nano One Materials Corp. has secured $4.3 million CAD from Natural Resources Canada to advance its battery materials production project. This funding is part of the Energy Innovation Program, bringing the total support to $9.3 million CAD.

The funds will be used to integrate distributed control and manufacturing execution systems, essential for increasing the efficiency and safety of operations at the Candiac plant in Quebec. The goal is to meet the growing needs for electric vehicles and energy storage.

This aid supports Nano One's strategy to become a key player in the North American battery materials market, while strengthening local production capabilities in line with government priorities.
