Mutares to Acquire Flooring Business of Hamberger Industriewerke

Mutares SE & Co. KGaA has announced the acquisition of the flooring business of Hamberger Industriewerke GmbH. This strategic move aims to enhance its Goods & Services segment. Scheduled to conclude in the second quarter of 2026, the deal is pending customary regulatory approvals.

The acquired business operates under the HARO brand, specializing in parquet and hard flooring. It has a significant presence in Germany and Bulgaria, alongside a global sales network spanning over 70 countries. Employing over 700 staff, the company generates approximately EUR 150 million in revenue and is recognized for its advanced production technologies and automation.

Johannes Laumann, CIO of Mutares, highlights the acquisition as a unique opportunity, emphasizing the company’s market leadership in German parquet manufacturing and its robust growth potential, particularly in Asian markets.
