Mutares SE & Co. KGaA to Sell Kalzip to Tremco CPG

Mutares SE & Co. KGaA has announced an agreement to sell Kalzip GmbH to Tremco Construction Products Group, a subsidiary of RPM International Inc. Kalzip, renowned for aluminum roofing and facade systems, reports revenues of approximately EUR 75 million. The transaction is slated to close in Q2 2026.

Kalzip has seen significant growth since being acquired by Mutares from Tata Steel Europe in 2018. The company has strengthened its market stance through strategic development within the Donges Group, achieving sustainable profitability with a global presence.

Johannes Laumann, CIO of Mutares, highlights the transaction as another successful exit for the firm, reflecting the effective repositioning and independent development of portfolio companies. Tremco CPG aims to sustain Kalzip’s growth trajectory and expand into new markets.
