Mutares Divests WIJ Special Media to N2COM

Mutares SE & Co. KGaA has announced the sale of WIJ Special Media B.V., a part of Prénatal, to N2COM. This strategic divestment is aimed at enabling the next growth phase for WIJ Special Media (WSM), a prominent data-driven media company in the Netherlands catering to pregnant women and young families.

Based in Blokker and founded in 1974, WSM excels in leveraging first-party data for targeted media content and various consumer and B2B services. The divestment aligns with Mutares' strategy to streamline Prénatal's focus on its core retail operations, allowing WSM to enhance its independent growth trajectory.

Mutares acquired Prénatal in December 2023 to bolster its influence in the parenting market. The separation now allows each company to concentrate on core activities and pursue unique growth strategies, thus facilitating further value creation for stakeholders.
