Motel One and PAI Partners Join Forces for Expansion

Motel One GmbH, a leading budget design hotel chain in Europe, has partnered with PAI Partners to boost its international growth. This strategic partnership grants PAI an 80% share in Motel One's operations. Dieter Müller, the founder, remains Chairman and will continue developing Motel One's real estate ventures to further the chain's expansion.

Founded in 2000, Motel One has become a prominent player in the hospitality sector, offering affordable prices and stylish accommodations. The chain now operates 99 hotels across 13 countries, attracting over 10 million guests in 2024. The launch of The Cloud One Hotels has contributed to its strong growth trajectory.

PAI Partners, known for its investment in consumer services, sees this alliance as an opportunity to expand Motel One's footprint globally. The transaction, pending regulatory approval, is expected to conclude in the second quarter of 2025.
