Moody’s Reaffirms « A1 » Outlook Stable Rating of CNP Assurances SA

Moody's confirmed the financial strength rating of CNP Assurances SA at « A1 » with a stable outlook on June 11th, 2024. This also applies to its subordinated notes.

Moody’s highlighted that the stable and strong market position of CNP Assurances in the French life insurance segment underpins its credit profile. The credit rating is further supported by a decreasing risk profile due to very low average guaranteed rates on traditional savings. The stable outlook reflects expectations of maintaining the business in France while improving product and geographic diversification.

CNP Assurances benefits from its continued integration with La Banque Postale and other group insurance operations, allowing it to offer new products to La Banque Postale clients and policyholders.
