Mobilezone Strengthens MVNO Market Position Amid Operational Challenges

Mobilezone Holding AG reported stable 2024 annual financial results, expanding its position in the Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) sector in Switzerland and Germany. The company achieved an organic sales growth of 1.2%, reaching CHF 1,025 million. However, special effects adversely impacted Operating Income (EBIT), which stood at CHF 52.7 million after adjustments.

Despite a challenging market, Mobilezone saw a 27% increase in MVNO subscriptions, with revenue rising to CHF 76.9 million. The company's MVNO brands, including TalkTalk, Digital Republic, and the newly re-launched simyo in Germany, contributed significantly to these results.

In Switzerland, sales fell by 10.4%, while Germany saw a 6.3% increase in sales after adjustments. The MVNO division's performance bolstered confidence for sustained future growth.
