Mighty Oak Medical and Medacta Announce Licensing Agreement

Mighty Oak Medical, Inc., Medacta USA, Inc., and Medacta International SA have announced a settlement and licensing agreement to resolve their patent dispute. The agreement grants Medacta a non-exclusive worldwide license to Mighty Oak’s patents for patient-specific pedicle screw guides in adult spinal surgeries.

Under the agreement, Medacta will sell its MySpine Guides exclusively with Medacta pedicle screws until 2031. This collaboration aims to enhance surgical precision and patient care through the use of personalized medical technology.
