Michael Drolshagen appointed CEO of WashTec AG

WashTec AG announced the appointment of Michael Drolshagen as its new Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective May 1, 2024. He succeeds Dr. Ralf Koeppe, whose tenure on the Executive Board is is concluded by mutual agreement on February 29, 2024.

Prior to joining WashTec AG, Michael Drolshagen held the position of Managing Director/CEO of the Steering division at thyssenkrupp Presta Aktiengesellschaft since 2018. His background also includes a position as Vice President After Sales for the global aftermarket at Porsche, as well as significant experience at Hella as a project manager. He started his career at Porsche in 2000, holding several key positions.

The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of WashTec AG, Ulrich Bellgardt, expressed his confidence in Michael Drolshagen, considering him to have all the necessary qualifications to successfully implement the strategy of the WashTec Group. The Supervisory Board looks forward to a fruitful collaboration and wishes him every success in his new role.
