Metallic Minerals Unveils Promising Exploration Outcomes at La Plata Project

Metallic Minerals Corp. has announced promising results from its district-scale exploration program at the La Plata project in Colorado. The newly identified priority targets, based on recent surface rock samples, suggest significant high-grade mineralization, spotlighting new areas for potential development.

The exploration has led to the identification of four new target zones, witlding significant copper, silver, gold, and platinum group elements. Remarkable surface rock samples were recorded at the Evening Star target, showing copper equivalent (Cu Eq) grades of up to 6.68%. Meanwhile, the Copper Age North target yielded a Cu Eq grade of 5.94%.

With collaboration from Newmont Corporation, the findings advance three targets to drill-ready status, while pinpointing over 25 additional targets within the 25 km² porphyry system. An updated resource estimate, including expanded precious metal analyses, is anticipated later this year.
