METabolic EXplorer goes into receivership

Clermont-Ferrand, June 12, 2024 – METabolic EXplorer (METEX), specialized in industrial fermentation for the production of natural ingredients, announced that the Paris Commercial Court has converted the safeguard procedure opened on March 25, 2024 into recovery judicial, June 11, 2024.

This conversion aims to enable the Court to examine possible offers to take over METEX's assets under a sale plan, in particular Avril's offer concerning certain commercial and R&D activities.

The judicial administrators, Joanna Rousselet, Carole Martinez and Marine Pace, were retained in their positions. The deadline for submitting offers has been set for June 19, 2024 at noon. Trading of METEX shares remains suspended.

Investors are informed that, due to the amount of the group's liabilities, the proceeds from sales will not be paid to shareholders and the entities should be liquidated judicially after sale of their activities.
