Mensch und Maschine Software SE Announces Record Q1 Results for 2024

Mensch und Maschine Software SE (MUM), a leader in CAD/CAM/BIM technologies, reported a highly successful start to 2024, surpassing previous first-quarter earnings records. Despite a slight dip in sales, the company's strategic focus on its core software and digitization businesses paid off, showing significant gains in gross profit and operating income.

Detailing the financial results, the company declared Q1 sales of EUR 100.87 million, slightly down by 2.1% from the previous year. However, gross profit rose by 6.6% to EUR 50.18 million, driven by increased profitability in both software sales and digitization services. The operating profit also reached a new high of EUR 16.86 million, up by 6.7%.

Net income after minority interests grew to EUR 10.62 million, showing an 8.2% increase. Earnings per share stood at 63 cents, up from 59 cents the previous year. The company's leadership, including CFO Markus Pech and Chairman Adi Drotleff, remains optimistic, reaffirming their earnings and dividend targets for 2024 and projecting stronger growth for 2025.
