MediClin Reports Sales Growth and Improved Operating Results in 2024

MediClin AG released its preliminary financial figures for 2024, showcasing a 2.6% increase in group sales, totaling EUR 748.8 million. The operating result saw a significant rise, reaching EUR 53.5 million, up from EUR 12.7 million in 2023. This improvement aligns with the top end of the company's annual forecast.

The post-acute segment contributed significantly to sales, growing by 7.6% to EUR 485.4 million, despite a slight operating result decrease. The acute segment faced a sales drop due to the sale of "MEDICLIN Herzzentrum Coswig," but reduced its operating loss significantly. Meanwhile, newly segmented "Service" and "Nursing Care" segments showed positive performance, with increases in both sales and operating results.

2024 saw a slight decrease in full-time employee numbers, averaging 6,889, while the company invested EUR 46.2 million in its future growth.
