MEDICLIN Reports Growth in Sales and Operating Results for Q1 2024

MEDICLIN Aktiengesellschaft, a healthcare provider, announced a 4.9% increase in consolidated sales reaching EUR 185.4 million for the first quarter of 2024. This improvement is accompanied by a rise in the operating profit from EUR -1.7 million in 2023 to EUR 4.1 million in the same period of 2024.

The company reported an overall capacity utilization of 85.1%, compared to 82.4% in the first three months of 2023. These figures represent a solid start to the year, indicating efficient operations and enhanced service delivery. Additionally, MEDICLIN finalized key transitions including the sale of MEDICLIN Herzzentrum Coswig and the acquisition of Reha-Klinik am Sendesaal in Bremen, signaling a strategic focus on rehabilitation services.

In segment performance, the post-acute units saw a 6.4% increase in sales, while the acute segment showed modest growth. The other activities and reconciliation segment reported a notable increase of 25.2% in sales, albeit with a slight decline in operating profit.
