MEDICLIN Expands Its Horizons by Acquiring Reha-Klinik am Sendesaal

MEDICLIN AG announced today that it has signed the purchase agreement to acquire Reha-Klinik am Sendesaal located in Bremen, previously owned by the Specht Group. This acquisition marks a significant step in MEDICLIN's strategic expansion, emphasizing its core competence in rehabilitation. Dr. Joachim Ramming, CEO of MEDICLIN, expressed enthusiasm about integrating the new clinic's team into their fold and highlighted the importance of teamwork in shaping the future of rehabilitation.

According to Thomas Piefke, COO of MEDICLIN, this addition aligns perfectly with the company’s strategy to enhance its rehabilitation services both in ambulatory and, where required, in stationary settings. The Reha-Klinik am Sendesaal, known for its specialized areas and a balanced mix of stationary and ambulatory services, represents an ideal fit for MEDICLIN.

The future management of the clinic was also disclosed, with Holger Kammann taking the helm as the Regional Managing Director. Kammann shared his eagerness to work closely with the clinic's staff and develop a joint path forward.

The Reha-Klinik am Sendesaal is recognized for its interdisciplinary approach in offering both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services across cardiology, orthopaedics, and geriatrics. It boasts 174 inpatient beds and up to 70 outpatient places, offering a broad spectrum of rehabilitation services.
