Medartis Wins Swiss Medtech Award 2026

Medartis Holding AG, a Basel-based orthopaedic company specializing in head and extremity surgery, has been awarded the Swiss Medtech Award 2026. The award, presented during Swiss Medtech Day in Bern, honors significant contributions in the Swiss medical technology sector. The prize includes a CHF 50,000 reward and is managed by the industry association Swiss Medtech.

An independent jury led by Dr. Gery Colombo selected Medartis based on patient benefit, healthcare improvements, and technological innovation. Medartis, active for nearly 30 years, excels in high-precision titanium implants and collaborates closely with medical professionals to enhance surgical procedures.

CEO Matthias Schupp attributed the award to Medartis’ employees, partners, and supporting surgeons, emphasizing the company's dedication to clinical relevance and innovation. Medartis acknowledged fellow finalists and expressed gratitude to Swiss Medtech and the jury.
