Medartis Finalizes Full Acquisition of KeriMedical

Medartis Holding AG announced its acquisition of the remaining 53% stake in KeriMedical for CHF 99 million. With this move, Medartis enhances its position in joint replacement and broadens its surgeon network.

KeriMedical's TOUCH prosthesis, recently approved by the FDA, complements Medartis' hand and wrist product offerings. This acquisition supports Medartis’ strategic expansion, promising significant sales growth and a positive impact on EBITDA margins.

Both companies will maintain their distinct brands, with KeriMedical operating independently. Co-founders Dougal Bendjaballah and Bernard Prandi stay on KeriMedical's board, ensuring continuity and leveraging their entrepreneurial expertise. The acquisition is set to close in August 2025, pending customary conditions.
