Masterflex Shows Strong Profit Growth in First Half of 2024

Masterflex SE reported a notable increase in profitability for the first half of 2024, despite a slight decline in revenue. The group's revenue stood at EUR 51.6 million, a 2.1% drop from the previous year. However, the operating EBIT margin improved from 12.9% to 14.6%, driven by efficiency improvements and a favorable product mix.

Masterflex’s EBITDA increased by 7.4% to EUR 10.1 million, while operating EBIT rose by 10.8% to EUR 7.5 million. The consolidated net income grew by 13.4% to EUR 4.8 million. Earnings per share also increased from EUR 0.44 to EUR 0.50.

The company's success in sectors like medical technology and aerospace, alongside stable orders and productivity gains, contributed to the positive performance. Despite economic challenges, Masterflex remains optimistic for the rest of the year, maintaining its revenue forecast of EUR 100-107 million and EBIT between EUR 12-15 million.
