Marie Brizard Wine & Spirits Reports 2024 Revenue Decline
Marie Brizard Wine & Spirits (MBWS) announced a 2.8% revenue decline in 2024, totaling €188.4 million. The fourth quarter saw a 4.6% drop, attributed to challenges in the International Cluster.
In France, revenues showed slight growth, up 0.7% to €83.9 million for the year, and 1.1% for the fourth quarter. The On-Trade market performed well, with new premium bourbon brands aiding growth, despite strategic international brands like William Peel experiencing declines.
Internationally, revenues fell by 5.5% to €104.5 million, impacted by maintenance operations affecting industrial services. Europe, especially Spain and Bulgaria, saw reduced sales, although Africa and the Middle East performed well. The United States experienced stable sales for Marie Brizard and a decline for Sobieski. Asia-Pacific showed slight recovery, driven by Korean and Japanese markets in the second half.
