Sirius Media and Trace TV Partner for Rap Documentary

On April 23, 2025, Sirius Media announced its collaboration with Trace TV to produce a documentary about rap, titled "The Architects of Rap." The project will highlight the evolution of the musical genre, which has become a pillar of the global music industry and a sociocultural marker. The six-episode series takes a unique approach, centering on a father-son duo sharing their perspectives on rap and its influences.

Trace Urban, a leading urban culture channel, will broadcast the documentary in 2026. Present in 60 countries, the channel guarantees wide distribution. This project marks a new era for Sirius Media in exploring rap. According to Paul Amsellem, CEO of Sirius Media, this collaboration opens new perspectives in a growing sector.
