M1 Kliniken AG Reports Strong Growth in 2023 Financial Year

M1 Kliniken AG announced substantial growth in its preliminary financial results for 2023. The company, a leader in aesthetic medical services, achieved a sales increase of over 10%, reaching €316.3 million. Notably, EBIT surged by 68%, amounting to €15.7 million. The firm's equity also saw an increment, ending the year at €143.7 million.

Sector-wise, the Beauty segment exhibited a remarkable 18% growth with revenue climbing to €70.8 million, boosted by the opening of four additional locations across Germany and Eastern Europe. The Trade segment also performed well, recording a 9% rise in sales to €245.5 million. Moreover, the earnings before taxes (EBT) appreciated significantly, up 61% to €16.4 million.

The operational achievements were supported by the expansion to a total of 58 locations by 2023 end, with the international segment nearly breaking even, showing a loss reduction from €2.4 million to €0.19 million. Despite a slight decline in the equity ratio, M1 maintains a strong financial standing, attributed to strategic market expansions and enhanced operational efficiencies across its locations.
