Louis Hachette Group Reports €2 Billion Q1 Revenue with 5% Growth

Louis Hachette Group has announced a strong start to 2025 with first-quarter revenue exceeding €2 billion, marking a 5% increase compared to the same period last year. This growth was driven mainly by the performance of Lagardère Publishing and Lagardère Travel Retail across various markets. Notably, the UK saw significant contributions from bestsellers and the expanding board games segment.

Lagardère Publishing achieved an 8% revenue increase, buoyed by successes in the UK and the rising popularity of board games. Meanwhile, Lagardère Travel Retail reported growth in all areas except North Asia, where restructuring is underway. The Americas also saw improvements, notably due to expanding travel segments and store openings.

Despite a drop in Prisma Media's paper distribution sales, the company maintained its position as France's leading cross-media publisher. It showed substantial growth in digital media, especially in the "Luxury and Lifestyle" category.
