LSEG Announces Collaboration with OpenAI for Enhanced AI Solutions
The London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) unveiled a new collaboration with OpenAI, introducing an MCP connector for ChatGPT users and enterprise customers. This initiative is part of LSEG's strategy to expand access to its AI-ready content.
Through products like Workspace and Financial Analytics, LSEG will allow ChatGPT users to access its licensed financial data and news. Initially, this access will be available via an MCP-powered connector, starting with LSEG Financial Analytics.
The integration enables users to analyze market data and gain insights within the ChatGPT app. An initial rollout will commence with 4,000 LSEG employees utilizing ChatGPT Enterprise to enhance productivity.
Ashley Kramer, OpenAI's CRO, highlighted the enhanced decision-making this collaboration will bring across global finance, marking a significant advancement in LSEG's AI strategy.
