Logic Instrument acquires Artic, a company specializing in industrial computing
On November 14, 2024, Logic Instrument, a leading French company in rugged mobile solutions, announced the acquisition of Artic, a specialist in industrial IT for defense for over 30 years. This transaction, expected for January 6, 2025, aims to strengthen Logic Instrument's position as a reliable partner for critical systems and strategic infrastructures. For Loïc Poirier, CEO of Logic Instrument, Artic enriches their offer for the defense and heavy industry sectors, by extending the life of critical systems.
Artic brings expertise in three areas: industrial card distribution, legacy system maintenance, and storage infrastructure modernization consulting. Jean-Philippe Barbin, Artic’s president, says this integration will help develop innovative solutions to meet customers’ demanding needs. This acquisition is part of Logic Instrument’s strategy to maintain their leadership position in defense-hardened technologies.
