Loar Holdings Inc. Completes Acquisition of Applied Avionics, Inc.

WHITE PLAINS, NY / ACCESSWIRE / August 26, 2024 / Loar Holdings Inc. (NYSE:LOAR) has completed its acquisition of Applied Avionics, Inc. for approximately $385 million in cash. Applied Avionics specializes in interface solutions for avionics and aerospace and defense electronics. Its brands, VIVISUN® and NEXSYS®, are well-regarded in the industry.

Applied Avionics operates out of Fort Worth, Texas. Loar anticipates net sales of about $40 million and an Adjusted EBITDA of $21 million for Applied Avionics in 2024. The transaction is expected to provide tax benefits of approximately $45 million, and Loar projects a net-debt-to-EBITDA ratio of less than 4.0x post-acquisition.
