Lithium South Development Corp. Announces Update on Upcoming Meeting

Lithium South Development Corp. has provided an update on its annual and special meeting of securityholders scheduled for February 19, 2026. The company has distributed the meeting materials, which detail an important vote on the sale of its subsidiary, NRG Metals Argentina S.A., to POSCO Argentina S.A.U. and POSCO Holdings Inc. for $65 million in cash.

The board believes the sale is the optimal choice for maximizing shareholder value, offering liquidity and minimizing risks associated with further project development. Shareholders will also consider a proposed Going Private Arrangement, distributing net proceeds from the sale to them.
