LightOn Launches IPO on Euronext Growth Paris
LightOn, a prominent European player in generative AI, has announced the launch of its IPO on the Euronext Growth market in Paris. The company aims to raise up to €13.5 million through this capital increase. Notably, €3 million has already been secured through subscription commitments from cornerstone investors.
The subscription period is open from 8 to 20 November 2024 for the Public Offer, with trading set to begin on 26 November 2024. LightOn's shares are priced at €10.35 each, and the firm has received approval from the French financial markets authority (AMF).
LightOn, founded in 2016, specializes in generative AI and has developed several language models in collaboration with European supercomputers. The company's expansion plans include an acceleration of business development and international growth, focusing on Europe and the Middle East.
