Lhyfe launches a vast green hydrogen project in Cheylas

Lhyfe, a major player in green hydrogen, has laid the foundation stone of its largest French production site in Le Cheylas, in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. This facility aims to produce up to 4 tonnes of green hydrogen per day thanks to an electrolysis capacity of 10 MW, doubling its initial planned capacity. The site will contribute to the decarbonization of mobility and regional industry by replacing grey hydrogen, in particular by supplying stations in the HYmpulsion network.

Representing an investment supported by Europe through the Just Transition Fund, the project is integrated into the regional IMAGHyNE programme which targets a sustainable economy in Europe. In partnership with HYmpulsion, Lhyfe will supply up to 600 tonnes of hydrogen per year, reinforcing its commitment to a green economy. European and regional financial support has made it possible to initiate this ambitious project, with a total grant of €6.25 million.
