Leonteq AG Publishes 2024 Sustainability and Climate Action Plans

On February 27, 2025, Leonteq AG released its comprehensive Sustainability Report for 2024, emphasizing its climate action strategy and net zero objectives. The report aligns with GRI Standards and includes the company's first Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) chapter, indicating a significant step toward managing climate-related risks.

Leonteq is committed to a 50% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030, reaching net-zero for these and some Scope 3 categories by 2035. It has partaken in a carbon removal initiative with Climeworks, targeting the removal of 3,600 tonnes of CO2 by 2030.

Markus Schmid, Chairman of the Sustainability Committee, highlighted the company's strengthened focus on environmental issues since 2020 and its continued dedication to reducing its environmental footprint. The report will be subject to approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting in March 2025.
