Legal Finance SE, headquartered in Frankfurt and part of Nakiki SE, has initiated numerous lawsuits against online casinos, based on the illegality of their operations up to 2021 under German law. The litigation financier asserts that these entities must refund players for losses incurred due to their illegal status. Legal Finance supports claimants in recovering these funds through legal proceedings, collaborating with specialized consumer protection law firms.

The company reports a high probability of success, evidenced by several German court rulings that have mandated refunds from online casinos to players. The Federal Court of Justice confirmed in March that these operations were unlawful and that victims should be compensated. Legal Finance handles about 100 cases monthly, with plans to increase this number significantly.

Legal Finance engages with law firms to acquire cases and also offers direct contact for claimants through their websites. Each case Legal Finance takes on averages between €30,000 and €50,000, with a 40% success rate per case.
