LDC Enters Exclusive Negotiations to Acquire Konspol Factory in Nowy Sacz

LDC has announced an agreement to enter exclusive negotiations with KONSPOL Holding SP z.o.o., an affiliate of the CARGILL group, for the acquisition of the Nowy Sacz plant and the Konspol brand in Poland. This factory generated a consolidated turnover of €35 million in 2023.

This acquisition aligns with LDC's international expansion strategy. It will allow the DROSED Group to penetrate the ready meals segment in Poland, featuring products like breaded items, burgers, sandwiches, tortillas, and gyozas, under the Konspol brand. This move will enhance the DROSED Group's production capabilities with a modern facility and an experienced team.

The transaction is expected to be finalized by the end of 2024, subject to approval by the competition authority.
