Lazaros Kalemis of Simpay Named Entrepreneur of the Year® 2024 Greater Philadelphia Award Winner

Ernst & Young LLP (EY US) announced that Lazaros Kalemis of Simpay has been named the Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2024 Greater Philadelphia Award winner. This competitive program honors bold leaders who disrupt markets and transform lives.

Mr. Kalemis was selected by a panel of independent judges, including previous winners and top CEOs, who evaluated candidates based on their ability to create long-term value, entrepreneurial spirit, and substantial impact. "This award is a testament to my parents’ belief in the American dream and to the Simpay team’s hard work," said Kalemis.

As a regional winner, Kalemis is now eligible for the national Entrepreneur Of The Year awards, to be announced in November. National winners will then compete for the World Entrepreneur Of The Year® Award in June 2025.

Entrepreneur Of The Year recognizes a variety of business leaders, including transformational CEOs and multigenerational family business leaders. Past honorees include Daymond John, Howard Schultz, and Reid Hoffman.
