Holcim Acquires Majority Stake in Cementos Pacasmayo

Holcim has finalized the acquisition of a majority stake in Cementos Pacasmayo, a significant Peruvian building materials producer. The 2025 net sales reported by Cementos Pacasmayo were USD 630 million with an adjusted EBITDA margin of 28%. This acquisition is a milestone for Holcim’s expansion in Latin America, aligning with its NextGen Growth 2030 strategy.

CEO Miljan Gutovic welcomed Cementos Pacasmayo's over 2,000 employees to the group, emphasizing the acquisition’s potential to accelerate growth and offer a cash-generative, complementary portfolio in Peru. Cementos Pacasmayo operates three cement plants and 28 concrete plants, and runs more than 300 retail stores.

The transaction implies a 2025 EBITDA multiple of 7.1x, with expected synergies of approximately USD 40 million realized in year three. It is slated to be earnings per share (EPS) accretive in year one.
