La Vaudoise deploys a mobile expertise unit after a hail storm in Bienne

Lausanne, July 3, 2024 – The hailstorm of June 28, 2024 caused significant damage to vehicles in the Bienne region. In response, Vaudoise Assurances is setting up a mobile expertise unit to quickly assist its policyholders.

To date, more than 120 damaged vehicles have been reported. This figure could increase in the coming days. The goal is to respond effectively and simply to the needs of affected customers.

Gérard Nerny, head of the auto appraisal department, declares: “Our desire to be as close as possible to our customers leads us to seek out appraisal locations close to the epicenter of the storm and within a time frame that allows us to 'organize as best as possible'.

Policyholders can report their damage to their agency or on the vaudoise.ch website. They can then make an appointment online to have their vehicle inspected.
