Kontron AG Reports Record Growth and Financial Results

Kontron AG, a leading IoT technology company, released its financial results for 2024, showcasing significant growth. The company achieved a 37% increase in sales to EUR 1,685 million, with a gross margin rising to 41.2%. The EBITDA surged by 52.2% to EUR 191.8 million. Operating cash flow reached a new peak at EUR 149.4 million.

The order backlog increased to EUR 2,078 million, driven by demand in infrastructure and defense sectors. The Software + Solutions segment, established in 2022, significantly contributed to EBITDA, comprising over 45%. This segment mainly fueled the backlog's high-margin composition.

Looking forward, Kontron projects revenues between EUR 1,900 and EUR 2,000 million for 2025, with an expected EBITDA of at least EUR 220 million. The dividend proposal stands at an increased EUR 0.6 per share. Kontron remains optimistic about future growth opportunities, propelled by new security products and AI integration.
