Kontron AG Announces New Share Buyback Program for 2024

On June 14, 2024, the Executive Board of Kontron AG approved a new share buyback program, "Buyback Program I 2024." This program, backed by the authorization granted during the extraordinary shareholder meeting on November 8, 2023, aims to repurchase up to 434,000 shares, representing approximately 0.7% of the company's current share capital. The total buyback value is capped at EUR 10,000,000.

The buyback program is set to commence on July 1, 2024, and will run until December 31, 2024, at the latest. The shares will be bought through stock exchange transactions and Multilateral Trading Facilities (MTFs). The program stipulates that the purchase price must remain within 10% of the average share price from the last five trading days.

The transaction details and any amendments will be published on the company's website. The initiative is aimed at optimizing the utilization of own shares for various corporate purposes, in compliance with relevant laws and the shareholder authorization.
