KION Unveils AI-Driven Industrial Solution at LogiMAT
The KION Group, in collaboration with NVIDIA and Accenture, has launched its first physical AI-powered solution at LogiMAT 2025 in Stuttgart. This initiative showcases AI-enhanced industrial trucks and their digital twins, promising to revolutionize supply chain operations by boosting efficiency, adaptability, and cost-effectiveness.
The solution, demonstrated by KION subsidiary Linde Material Handling, includes an autonomous mobile robot and a manual truck, both integrated and AI-powered. Utilizing NVIDIA's Omniverse, the technology offers real-time tracking and simulation capabilities, which aid in optimizing warehouse layouts and operations dynamically.
Rob Smith, CEO of KION, emphasized that the combination of AI with industrial automation technologies allows for continuous adjustments to supply chain conditions, ultimately reducing capital and operational expenditures. This collaborative effort with NVIDIA and Accenture represents a significant step in digitalizing and optimizing global logistics networks.
