KION Group Donates €257,000 for Spanish Flood Relief

KION Group has announced a donation of €257,000 to the Spanish Red Cross to aid relief efforts following severe floods in Valencia, Murcia, and Andalusia, Spain. The combined contribution includes €9,500 from employees, which KION increased to €250,000, and €7,000 from Spanish networks of Linde Material Handling and STILL dealers.

KION’s Chief People & Sustainability Officer, Valeria Gargiulo, emphasized the company's commitment to assisting affected communities and rebuilding infrastructure. Although KION facilities and employees remained unharmed, structural damages were reported at the Linde branch in Valencia.

The donation reflects KION's solidarity with local efforts and the resilience of its teams, as highlighted by Andreas Krinninger, President KION ITS EMEA. KION also allowed Spanish employees with personal ties to the affected regions to take paid leave for humanitarian aid efforts.
