Enhanced Geophysical Datasets Amplify Copper-Gold Target at Hank Discovery
Kingfisher Metals Corp. has announced that updated geophysical inversion datasets bolster the prospects of the copper-gold target within the Hank Cu-Au discovery area. New Mobile MagnetoTellurics and magnetic surveys were among the recent analyses considered. These additions expand the insights into the porphyry copper-gold potential within the HWY 37 Project, part of British Columbia's Golden Triangle.
The magnetic vector inversion model identifies a significant alteration footprint, coinciding with surface and drill findings. Meanwhile, newly executed IP-resistivity surveys uncover an expansive anomaly suggesting potassic alteration. MMT and resistivity findings point to a considerable low-resistivity anomaly over an extensive area, implying hydrothermal clay alteration. Petrography reports support the magnetite destruction theory with indicators like bornite and tennantite.
CEO Dustin Perry underlined the systematic exploration efforts, which promise confidence for the 2026 field program. The merging of geophysical data with geological and petrographic insights aims to target and expand the potential of this new discovery.
