Katjes International Acquires Majority Stake in Bogner Group
Katjes International GmbH & Co. KG has announced the acquisition of a 60% stake in the Bogner Group, a prominent family-owned luxury apparel brand in Germany. The deal, signed through Katjes Quiet Luxury GmbH, leaves the Bogner family with a 40% holding in the company. The transaction is slated to conclude in September 2025, pending approval from German antitrust authorities.
The Bogner Group, recognized for its premium sports and leisurewear, generated net sales nearly reaching EUR 200 million in the 2024/25 financial year. This acquisition marks a strategic move for Katjes, which is considering increasing its corporate bond to finance the purchase.
Katjes International, known for focusing on branded consumer goods in Europe, continues to expand its portfolio with investments in established brands across various sectors.
