Kalray and Pliops in negotiations for a strategic merger
Kalray, a specialist in data management and processing technologies, has announced exclusive discussions with Pliops. The two companies aim to form a global leader in data acceleration solutions for AI and storage.
By combining Pliops' KV technology with Kalray's MPPA™ architecture, the new set promises unprecedented performance in data processing. A share swap is planned, with majority control for Kalray shareholders. Pliops investors would thus become shareholders of the new group.
The negotiations should be concluded in mid-July 2024. The integration of Pliops should have a positive impact on the finances of the new group from 2025.
