Kalo Gold Unveils New Epithermal Gold System at Vatu Aurum Project, Fiji

Kalo Gold Corp. has confirmed the discovery of an epithermal gold system at the Dua Target within the Vatu Aurum Project, Fiji. Stretching over 1.5 kilometers along the Namalau Trend, the discovery features a preserved network of quartz veins, typical of epithermal gold deposits.

The extensive mineralized footprint at Dua Target includes 956 meters of trenching uncovering 33 quartz vein intersections. Historical findings revealed gold values up to 3.64 g/t, with new assays showing values up to 0.65 g/t. The presence of key pathfinder elements further substantiates the system's potential.

The discovery points to a well-preserved epithermal zone, characterized by quartz lithocaps and minimal erosion. A drilling program is planned for 2025 to assess the Dua Target's depth potential and further explore the Namalau Trend.
