Kalo Gold Announces Commencement of Exploration at Vatu Aurum Project, Republic of Fiji

Kalo Gold Corp. has announced the commencement of field exploration at its fully owned Vatu Aurum Project in Fiji. The project benefits from over 30 years of exploration data, compiled by the SGDS Hive Team, which has significantly enhanced the understanding of the geological setting and potential of the area.

The exploration team, led by Andy Randell, P.Geo., aims to develop a detailed geological model, focusing on identifying new epithermal systems and expanding existing gold resources. Initial exploration will target the Qiriyaga and Vuinubu Ridge Gold Deposits along with the Namalau Trend, a priority target with significant epithermal potential.

Terry L. Tucker, President and CEO, acknowledged the extensive historical data collected by various companies and expressed optimism about the new exploration program. The fieldwork aims to identify the sources of hydrothermal fluids and structural controls to build a comprehensive geological model.

The Vatu Aurum Project, located on Vanua Levu in Fiji, holds promise due to its strategic position on the prolific Pacific "Ring of Fire." This region has produced numerous significant gold deposits historically, enhancing the prospects for new discoveries.
