Investment Evolution Credit PLC Announces Appointment of Director and Expansion of UK Team

Investment Evolution Credit PLC (AQSE:IEC), a global fintech group specializing in online consumer loans, announced the appointment of Mr. Gareth Hawkins as an Independent Non-executive Director and Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee, effective August 1, 2024. Mr. Hawkins, who has extensive financial and compliance experience, is a UK citizen and will be responsible for finance at the company.

Additionally, IEC is finalizing the non-board appointments of three new key UK executives with roles including Chief Financial Officer, Managing Director of Corporate Finance, and Chief Operating Officer/UK Lending & Compliance Manager. These appointments aim to strengthen IEC's UK FCA Consumer Credit Licensing Application and demonstrate the company's long-term commitment to the UK public company and consumer finance markets. IEC plans to commence consumer lending operations in the UK by early 2025.

Mr. Hawkins has held various directorships, including roles at Angel Syndicate Ltd, Fundry Capital Partners Ltd, and ElectrAssure Ltd. His extensive background also includes advisory positions with several investment advisory companies.
